MelodyDay was in the SoundK studio for You Who Came from the Stars with DJ Ashley. MelodyDay (멜로디데이) debuted in 2013 under Kakao M (Leon Entertainment) and Cre.ker Entertainment.

Tidbits::
– Some of the members were on the career rebooting TV program The Unit.
– Yein is a DJ for a military radio station.
– Yeoeun was very excited about being on a survivor show, King of Masked Singer.
– Chahee started with ballet and never thought of singing. She became a model when she moved to Seoul.
– Yoomin usually likes hip-hop but lately she’s been feeling sentimental and listens to softer music.
– Yeoeun always carries her music instrumentals for when someone asks her to sing.
– Their fanclub name is MeTo and has been that since their debut. It is a mashup of Melody and together, meaning people who are together with MelodyDay.
– Chahee is very sorry to the fans because they don’t promote much, have long haituses, and they most do OSTs without much opportunity to meet their fans.
– Yeoeun started singing when she was 5 and decided she was going to be someone who sings.
– Yein grew up with frequent visits to broadcasting stations, because of her parents and their careers.
– Chahee debuted as a model at the Seoul fashion week show. The hardest part was learning to walk the catwalk. She also felt insecure because she was so much shorter than the other models.

Q: Can you explain your group name, MelodyDay?
A: Producer/Poet Won Taeyong came up with the name. The name means to making every Day a beautiful Melody for somebody.
